kundol, patola, upo't kalabasa
at saka mayroon pa labanos, mustasa
sibuyas, kamatis, bawang at luya
sa paligid-ligid ay puno ng linga.
This was supposed to be my LP entry for the theme Tatak Pinoy yesterday. However I would have written a melodramatic LP post again (such that the hut represents the current situation of the Philippines) so I chose the cross-carrying Kapampangans instead.
I have always loved the barrio --- the fresh air, lush greenery and simple life.
